Duties:

• Assistance with planning of and adherence to delivery dates
• Compliance with quality requirements
• Setup of machines and tools in the BIAT department
• Compliance with specifications in quality management manual
• Compliance with all legal provisions and guidelines, especially those specified in the UVV (German Accident Prevention Guidelines)
• Maintenance and repair of machinery pool
• Completion of all tasks arising within the scope of your activities

• Compliance with specifications in quality management manual
• Compliance with all legal provisions and guidelines, particularly press monitoring, management, setup manual
• Maintenance and repair of machinery pool
• Completion of all tasks arising within the scope of your activities

• Various manual and machine-based toolmaking techniques
• Production of tools with high dimensional accuracy based on drawings or CAD data
• Use of computer-controlled machine tools
• Development of work plans and reading of drawings
• Production of individual parts as samples
• Tool repair and maintenance

• Basic secondary school leaving certificate or Higher secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife, equivalent to GCSE)

Cutting technician

What we will teach you:

• Your trainer will use his/her specialist knowledge to make you an expert in handling state-of-the-art machines. Both your training and your future job are sure to be extremely exciting and varied.
• Together with your colleagues, you will get to know conventional machine tools as well as CNC-controlled production systems.
